Since smaller areas are treated, it is not uncommon to only require local anesthesia as opposed to general anesthesia which would require most dosage and an anesthesiologist. Of course some bargain places also will allow an under qualified nurse to administer the drug which is dangerous.

The surgeon fee is really what makes the difference in the final cost when shopping between different surgeons. Expect to pay more for an experienced and well trained surgeon with a lot of credibility. That is the price of quality and when it comes to your health, don’t go with a surgeon with iffy qualifications.
